Massage Therapy (Burned Out Thumb Resolved)

“I wanted to share my testimonial in hopes of helping other Massage Therapists.  I graduated in 2009 from CCMT, Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, after successfully completing a 20 month course.  I opened my studio after taking the state licensing exam and hung out my shingle.  About two years ago my right hand thumb began to hurt and would not  bend over to  the base of my ” pinky” on the same hand,  as my left hand thumb could.  It only went about half way and stopped in the air half way there and had pain.  I mentioned this to a friend who said that they had had severe pain after an auto accident in some joints and a friend of her’s told her to try a magnet practitioner and she had excellent results.  In massage circles folks speak of “burning out” your thumbs because they are favorite tools of the trade.  I figured that this is what I had done to my right thumb because I am a big guy, 225lbs, and 6″ 1″ tall with strong hands and fingers.

I taped a medium magnet on the top of my right thumb’s second joint and sometimes a small magnet on the nail, green side to the skin for overnight.  I did this for about two weeks and the pain began to subside and thumb began to get more limber.  Perhaps it was a month or so I don’t remember exactly but all the pain went away and I could bend my thumb to reach the base of my “pinky” on the right hand just like the left without any pain.  It has remained without pain since then, almost two years.   I was very pleased and have shared the experience with friends and family.  Then I purchesed four Wellnesss Kits and gave them as presents to my family members.  I proved it to myself and I am a believer that  magnetism, used properly, helps the body fix/heal itself so the problem causing the pain is gone.”
